About Family Entertainment Center Insurance
The only insurance practice built exclusively for FEC operators — powered by HUB International, one of the world’s largest brokers.
Our Mission
Family Entertainment Center Insurance exists for one purpose: to give FEC operators access to insurance programs that actually fit the way their businesses work. We got tired of watching venue owners overpay for generic commercial policies that left critical gaps — so we built something better.
We serve trampoline parks, rage rooms, go kart tracks, laser tag arenas, arcades, bowling alleys, climbing gyms, and every type of entertainment venue in between — with custom programs that account for your specific attractions, staffing, revenue model, and risk profile.
Backed by HUB International
We are a specialty insurance practice within HUB International, one of the largest independent insurance brokerage firms in the world.
As an independent broker, HUB is not owned by or tied to any insurance carrier. That independence matters. It means we have access to every major insurance company and specialty underwriter in the marketplace — allowing us to source the best coverage options and pricing available for your specific operation.
Founded by a Former FEC Owner
Brett Pollak founded Family Entertainment Center Insurance after spending years running his own entertainment venue and experiencing firsthand how broken the insurance market was for FEC operators. Generalist brokers didn’t understand the risks. Carriers didn’t want to write the business. And the policies that were available often excluded the exact scenarios FEC owners worry about most.
Brett joined HUB International to build the program he always wished existed — one with real industry knowledge behind every recommendation, real carrier options behind every quote, and a real advocate behind every claim.
Today, Brett and his team serve FEC operators from coast to coast, providing the kind of coverage advice that can only come from someone who’s actually run the business.

Our Values
Expertise Over Volume
We’d rather know everything about entertainment venue insurance than know a little about everything. Specialization is how we deliver real value.
Transparency
We explain coverage in plain language, show you exactly what you’re paying for, and never push products you don’t need.
Partnership
Our best client relationships last for years. We grow with your business and adapt your coverage as your venue evolves.

FEC owners move fast. So do we. Most quotes are delivered in 24–48 hours. Opening a new location? We can often bind same-day.

The Insurances We can offer you today!
General Liability insurance covers bodily injury and property damage claims arising from your operations. This is the most closely scrutinized coverage for family entertainment and amusement facilities due to the frequency of participant activity and public interaction.
A standard General Liability policy is typically written with:
$1,000,000 per occurrence
- $2,000,000 aggregate
What that means:
- Per occurrence is the maximum amount the policy will pay for a single claim or incident.
- Aggregate is the maximum the policy will pay for all claims combined during the policy year.
These limits are common across the industry and often satisfy basic contractual requirements. However, depending on your attractions, volume of guests, or contractual obligations (such as landlord, lender, or municipal requirements), higher limits may be appropriate or required.
We can structure higher limits through:
- Increased primary limits, and/or
- Excess or umbrella liability coverage
What that means:
This allows you to better protect your business assets and remain compliant with lease or contract requirements.
This coverage is designed to address risks from bodily injury to others i.e.:
- Falls, collisions, and participant-to-participant injuries
- Thrown or propelled objects (axe throwing, rage rooms, batting cages, paintball, inflatables)
- Slips and trips in arcades, bowling alleys, ice rinks, and walkways
- Spectator injuries
- Youth participation, group events, and birthday parties
Our role is to ensure the limits, structure, and classification accurately reflect how your facility actually operates, not just what looks good on paper.
Fast payouts. Fewer lawsuits. Happier customers.
Accident insurance pays medical expenses regardless of fault for injured participants. It is not a replacement for liability insurance — it is a lawsuit prevention tool.
This coverage can:
- Pay medical bills quickly
- Reduce attorney involvement
- Preserve customer relationships
- Support waiver defenses
Highly recommended for:
- Trampoline parks
- Ninja courses
- Ropes courses
- Inflatables
- Rock climbing
- Youth-heavy attractions
Protecting your building, build-out, and equipment
Entertainment centers invest heavily in tenant improvements and specialized equipment.
Property insurance should reflect that reality.
Coverage can include:
- Buildings (If Owned):
Fire, wind, vandalism, and other covered causes of loss
- Tenant Build-Out & Improvements:
Covers the construction, materials, and installations you put into a leased space that are permanently affixed to the building. These are improvements you paid for, but do not remove when you leave.
In simple terms:
If it’s bolted, built, mounted, or attached to the walls, floors, or ceiling, this is typically considered tenant build-out.
- Trampoline structures
- Go-kart tracks
- Soft play installations
- Rock walls and ropes systems
Business Personal Property / Contents
Covers the movable items your business owns that are not permanently attached to the building.
In simple terms:
If it can be picked up, unplugged, rolled away, or relocated, it is typically considered contents.
- Arcade games
- Bowling lanes
- VR equipment
- Rental gear and safety equipment
Outdoor Signage & Plate Glass
- Front windows
- Exterior signage
- High-traffic storefront exposures
Equipment Breakdown
- Mechanical and electrical failures
- Arcade machines
- HVAC systems
- Specialized attraction equipment
Business Interruption
- Lost income after a covered loss such as a fire or tornado
- Extra expense to reopen faster
If alcohol is sold, served, or included in party packages, Liquor Liability is critical and often required by your lease or municipality.
Liquor Liability helps protect against claims alleging:
- Overserving or serving intoxicated patrons
- Alcohol-related injuries inside your facility
Third-party injuries after patrons leave
This is especially important for any venue that furnishes or sells alcohol:
These limits are common across the industry and often satisfy basic contractual requirements. However, depending on your attractions, volume of guests, or contractual obligations (such as landlord, lender, or municipal requirements), higher limits may be appropriate or required.
Required. Closely underwritten. Often misunderstood.
